Thank you to everyone who came, traders, gamers and members of the public, as well as to our painting competition judge Richard Gray and his wife Rebecca.
Painting competition results and photos will be up shortly. For the two club awards:
- the Steve Frisby Memorial Trophy, for the game we as a club most wish we’d put on, went to Doncaster Wargames Society for their delightful Dragon Boat Racing game
- the Nick Hornby Memorial Trophy, for the best built, was awarded to Innsmouth Gold for their Welcome to Innsmouth game.
Some of you may have noticed the absence of a couple of our regulars, namely author Harry Sidebottom, who unfortunately came down with a bug on the day of the show, and our Hereward The Wake, Rory Gibson from the Wake Hereward Project, who had to deal with a family illness. We wish them and theirs well, and look forward to seeing them again next year.
