There are five categories:
- Single Miniature
- Unit or Squad (maximum 12 models)
- Monster or Vehicle (sorry, no Titans or Super Heavy tanks)
- Display (busts etc)
- Under 16 Open
The Category winners will go forward to the “Best in Show” award, named BRAIN BITER for which an additional prize will be awarded. All miniatures must be displayed on appropriate bases or plinths ideally no bigger than 10” x 10”. If you are in any doubt as to the suitability of your entry please contact us in advance of the show by email with a picture and details (info@hereward-wargames.co.uk). Our guest judge/s will nominate three to five finalists per category.
All entries must be received by: 12:00pm (midday) on the day of the show.

- A show entry ticket is required to enter the competition.
- Each contestant may make only one entry per category.
- The organisers and judges reserve the right to move any entry to a more suitable category as they see fit.
- All category entries are at the discretion of the competition organiser.
- Each category winner will receive a prize of at least £25 cash and a trophy. The “Best in Show” award winner will receive at least an additional £25 prize.
- All entries will be exhibited to the public during the show and results will be announced at 2:45pm.
- All entries will be exhibited on a station manned at all times. By entering this competition you accept that Peterborough Wargames Club will not be held liable for any loss damage or theft of any entries.
- Entries can be collected after 3pm.
- The judge/s will be chosen by Peterborough Wargames Club.
- The competition is open to all ticket holders, including members of Peterborough Wargames Club, however the judge/s are not permitted to enter.
- It is a condition of entry that you consent to Peterborough Wargames Club taking and using images of your entry/entries to promote the Hereward Wargames Show.
