After consideration of the health and safety aspects of the show in the present climate, as well as the financial risk, we as a committee do not feel it would be in the best interests of the club, or the wellbeing of the show’s attendees were we to proceed with the show on its current date.
We have discussed this with the venue, and agreed that we will move our booking to Sunday September 5th 2021 – while we could explore earlier dates, we are conscious both of the uncertainty about public events at present, and not wishing to cause scheduling conflicts with other shows between now and our regular date in 2021.
We have been in touch with our prospective traders, games and advance ticket holders to outline the options they have – if you have not received a communication yet and believe you should have, please let us know.
In the meantime, we are intending to run Virtual Hereward 2020 online, as a live stream with assorted programming (at the minimum including discussion panels and game demos) between 10am and 4pm on September 6th, the date of the original show.
