Peterborough Wargames Club is delighted to announce that renowned miniature painter Richard Gray has agreed to judge the painting competition at this year’s Hereward Wargames Show. Richard is widely recognised as one of the world’s leading miniature painters. A multiple Golden Demon and Slayer Sword winner, he shares painting tutorials, techniques and examples of his work through his website and social media channels.

The Hereward Wargames Show 2026 takes place on Sunday 6 September at The Cresset, Bretton, Peterborough. As well as the painting competition, visitors can enjoy a full programme of participation games, browse a wide range of traders and hunt for bargains in the show’s popular table sale.
