Undaunted Air War Pacific (Grantham Strategy and Gaming Club)
Undaunted Air War Pacific | World War II | 1/300 scale
Take to the skies over the Pacific in this exciting aerial combat game inspired by the popular Undaunted series. Pitting Japanese Mitsubishi Zeros against American Grumman Wildcats, Undaunted Air War Pacific combines fast-paced dog fighting with innovative deck-building mechanics. Each aircraft begins the game with a single activation card, but as the battle progresses you can strengthen your hand, building up to three cards per aircraft to increase its effectiveness. Every hit counts, however. As your aircraft takes damage, cards are removed from your deck, reducing its combat capability until the final card is lost and the aircraft is shot down. Featuring tactical decision-making, cinematic air combat and elegant mechanics, this is a fresh take on Second World War aerial warfare that is well worth a look. We’d like to thank Grantham Strategy and Gaming Club for bringing this game to the show.
