If you’re interested in our Game of Thrones card game tournament, the following downloads are available (you’ll need to read all three!):
We are aware of an issue with downloading ticket PDFs, as well as somewhat slow performance, on our site, and are looking into it.
As long as you have received a confirmation email, your purchase has been successfully made, and as soon as we resolve the issue in question, you will be able to download your ticket. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.
Not content with running the club’s (sold out) third annual tournament (“The Phoney War”) in December, we’ve coaxed members of the club into running another Bolt Action tournament at Hereward. Tickets are on sale Right Now for the usual £10, including show admission, and the tournament pack is available for download here.
Watch this space for rules packs and tickets for the rest of the tournaments (as advertised in the national wargames press) this coming week.
Today we can reveal the names of the 16th, 17th and 18th confirmed traders for Hereward 2016!
Our 16th trader for Hereward 2016 is Black Pyramid Gaming who sell a wide range of their own and other manufacturers steam punk style minis and rules. Black Pyramid were one of the first traders to sign up for our inaugural show in 2015 and we are pleased to welcome them back.
The 17th confirmed trader is Emperor Toad’s Emporium. Emperor Toad’s produce an ever expanding range of scale wargames scenery and a stunning range of hand crafted buildings, which really bring your battlefield to life. They also paint Perry Miniatures and Warlord Games models to great effect at an affordable price.
The 18th confirmed trader is Diplomatist Books. Diplomatist Books is what can be charitably described as a micro-business – a one-man shop operated by Edwin King. Their stock is mainly History – predominately Military History – but includes anything else that catches their fancy. New items are added to their store on AbeBooks every week where they generally have 700+ titles available!
We will be announcing at least one more name this week so keep checking our website, Facebook and Twitter.
We’re delighted to announce that tickets for our Game of Thrones card game tournament are now on sale. Tickets include show admission, and the event will be held (like the others) upstairs in our spacious tournament area. We’ll make sure you get a chance to check out the show, too!
The tournament is brought to you by two sponsors:
Shire Post Mint have been making beautiful fantasy coins using traditional methods for many years. Tom Maringer started off as a knife and sword maker before turning his hand to official coins for The Lord of the Rings, Conan the Barabarian and of course A Game of Thrones amongst others. Check out their website for more information.
We are pleased to announce that the 15th confirmed trader for Hereward 2016 is local shop The Rift. The Rift sell a wide range of Board Games and CCG’s, as well as discount Games Workshop and hold frequent tournaments and “Friday Night Magic” events. The Rift will once again be sponsoring our Magic the Gathering tournament, details of which will be released shortly.
We have had a busy couple of weeks behind the scenes at Hereward and as a result we have signed up a further SIX traders for this year’s show.
So, our 14th trader is Wargames Illustrated. Wargames Illustrated (affectionately known as WI) is the world’s leading and best selling magazine dedicated to the hobby of miniature wargaming. The magazine is published each month in printed and digital formats. Each month WI features news, views, reviews and over 100 pages of articles relating to the noble hobby of miniature wargaming.
We’ll be announcing the 15th to 19th traders over the next few days so make sure you keep checking the website, Facebook page or Twitter feed.
