Just a reminder that it’s not too late to sign up for this year’s X-Wing Tournament, sponsored by our friendly local gaming store, The Rift.
Entry (including access to the show) is £10, and the tournament rules (updated for 2.0) are linked from the signup/ticket page.
Due to a lack of take-up, we regret to announce that the Gaslands, SAGA and Magic tournaments will not now be going ahead. Those who have already entered will be issued refunds via Paypal shortly. Our thanks and apologies to Andy from Ainsty Castings and Mike Hutchison, author of Gaslands, for their help in organising the events thus far.
The X-Wing tournament, sponsored by local game store The Rift, however, continues as planned – there are still spaces available, too!
Trader number 19 for 2018 is a Hereward ever present. Yes it’s Ainsty Castings.
Ainsty Castings manufacture wargaming miniatures and scenics in resin and White Metal and are an excellent source for Saga, Gripping Beast and Northstar miniatures.
Andy from Ainsty will be the host for our Saga Melee, tickets for wich can be purchased here.
The tournament pack for our SAGA Melée is now available here (PDF), thanks to Andy from Ainsty Castings.
Entrants should note that it includes a warband roster sheet you’ll need to fill in and bring with you.
This year, we’re going to be running a SAGA Melée again at Hereward: this time, Andy from Ainsty Castings has very generously agreed to be the ‘man in charge’ for the event.
You can sign up here – entry is £10 including show admission. The rules pack will be updated shortly, just as soon as Andy gets it to us.
We regret to announce that this year’s SAGA Melée will not now take place.
We’ll be in touch with entrants to ensure their refunds are processed according to their preference.
The Rift are organising two tournaments for us this year – the second is a Magic The Gathering event. As before, tickets are available here, from the sidebar or via the store itself. Entry is £1o, including show admission (and we promise to give you time to enjoy the show, too.).
Local gaming store The Rift are hosting another X-Wing tournament for us this year. Entry (including show entrance) is £10, and you can sign up here or via the ticket links on the right (or in store at the Rift, of course).
As ever, we thank Trev and the Rift for their support.
Not content with running the club’s (sold out) third annual tournament (“The Phoney War”) in December, we’ve coaxed members of the club into running another Bolt Action tournament at Hereward. Tickets are on sale Right Now for the usual £10, including show admission, and the tournament pack is available for download here.
Watch this space for rules packs and tickets for the rest of the tournaments (as advertised in the national wargames press) this coming week.
We’re delighted to announce that tickets for our Game of Thrones card game tournament are now on sale. Tickets include show admission, and the event will be held (like the others) upstairs in our spacious tournament area. We’ll make sure you get a chance to check out the show, too!
The tournament is brought to you by two sponsors:
