We’re really pleased to welcome David Maike of the WakeHereward Project and medieval re-enactor Rory G as Hereward the Wake to the show. The WakeHereward project aims to raise the profile of the legendary Anglo-Saxon warrior Hereward the Wake, the folk-hero of the Fenlands of Eastern England! Assuming he doesn’t have to battle any Normans on the way to Bretton we are planning to invite Rory/Hereward to officially open the show for us at 10am. He’ll then be around the show for the rest of the morning.
